AppearanceRiki is a muscular, red akita dog. He has brown eyes, as well as a brown collar on his neck. Riki also has many scars scattered around him. He has scars on his muzzle, cheeks, chest, back, and side. He has a charismatic aura, and is known for often carrying a serious expression with him.

PersonalityRiki is very strong both mentally and physically. He's very brave and intelligent, and he calls his packmates his children. Riki's quite serious and expects his orders to be obeyed, and can get quite angry if they're not obeyed. His personality stayed the same, even when he lost his memory. He has a strong sense of justice, and when he was a puppy, he was known to be a mama's boy and was very whiny and was prone to crying.
HistoryRiki was born to a strong bearhound named Shiro and his mate Yamabuki as the runt of the litter. He isn't picked by Gohei Takeda due to his size, and young Riki stayed with his mother until she was moved back to her original owner. He eventually gets attacked by Heiji and his pack, and is rescued by his father Shiro, who advises him to eat more to become strong. Riki eventually becomes strong and rescues Daisuke, Gohei's grandson. Gohei chooses Riki to be his next bearhound, and Riki goes through training, becoming Gohei's next bearhound. Riki is chosen to breed with many females to produce strong puppies, and one of them is Fuji. He fathers a litter of puppies with her, Gin being one of the puppies. One day, when Akakabuto attacks, Riki rescues Gin and gets hurt in the process, being knocked into a crevasse. Riki loses his memory after the attack, only remembering his hatred for Akakabuto. He eventually meets his son Gin and remembers him, and Riki is killed in the battle against Akakabuto.
